We offer expert borehole logging undertaken by a qualified Geologist and Geotechnical professional (RPGeo, PEngGeol-pending), (MAIG, MEngNZ). Logs are completed to Australian (AS1276:2017) or NZGS:2005 standards, including detailed lithology, moisture conditions, insitu testing, and stratigraphy by depth. Ideal for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects requiring ground investigation.

Our team conducts shallow borehole drilling up to 5 metres deep, ideal for an array of soil assessments, investigations and classification. We use a range of hand and motorised augers tailored to different soil types and site access conditions, ensuring efficient work and minimal disturbance.

We provide machine excavated testpits for geotechnical logging and bulk sampling. Our operators are RII certified our services also include full compliance with as-constructed reinstatement of pavements post-investigation — perfect for council and infrastructure projects requiring either bespoke or standard (TMR/TfNSW) compliance.

We perform soil sampling for both environmental assessment (e.g. contamination testing/pH) and geotechnical analysis (e.g. CBR, Atterberg’s, PSD). Our methods include auger or bucket sampling, disturbed and undisturbed sampling, and in-situ preservation.

DWGEO offers dry higher (No Operator) of their single operator 79 Series Drill Rig with auger/push tube setup.
First time operators will need to complete a verification of competency (VoC) and short training session at additional cost (Valid 1 year).
